Kate Stevens is a multidisciplinary designer, entrepreneur, and sustainability innovator whose work bridges environmental stewardship, technology, fabrication, research, and human-centered design. For more than 15 years, she has developed products, systems, and experiences that transform complex challenges into practical, accessible solutions.

Driven by curiosity and a passion for continuous learning, Kate's portfolio spans sustainable product development, digital design, programming, environmental education, market research, branding, fabrication, and creative problem-solving. Rather than specializing in a single discipline, she thrives at the intersection of many—connecting ideas, people, and technologies to create meaningful impact.

As the founder of Garbology USA, Kate developed a family of initiatives including Slingies®, Better Bagger, Reneu, and Timber & Vine, each exploring new approaches to waste reduction, packaging innovation, consumer engagement, and the circular economy. These projects reflect a long-term commitment to designing systems that make sustainable choices easier and more intuitive.

Her work extends beyond product innovation into fabrication and the built environment, where she enjoys designing and constructing functional spaces, prototyping ideas, and bringing concepts to life through hands-on experimentation. Whether building physical objects, developing software, creating educational materials, or crafting visual stories, Kate approaches every project with the same belief: thoughtful design has the power to improve both everyday experiences and the world around us.
